She/Her. Allison is a PhD student in the P4Play Joint Doctorate Program, the first innovative trans-European Occupational Science doctoral training programme dedicated to play occupation, participation, policy and practice. Allison's research focuses on play from a gendered lens, specifically exploring how through their play occupations, children conceptualize, communicate, challenge, and/or reinforce gender stereotypes. Allison received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Science, and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, with Minor in African American Studies from University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. She received her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Boston University.
