Crispen Phiri is an ecologist who holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Biological Sciences and a Master of Science degree in Tropical Resource Ecology from the University of Zimbabwe, as well as Doctor of Philosophy degree in Zoology from the University of Cape Town. He is currently a senior lecturer in the Freshwater and Fishery Sciences Department at Chinhoyi University of Technology. His interests include biodiversity conservation, maintaining of aquatic ecosystem health and enhancing food security through strengthening of the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
