Biographical Info
Lindiwe Julia Ncube is a senior lecturer and researcher in the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Sefako Makgatho Health Care Sciences – Specializing in Food Service Administration. Lindiwe holds a Doctoral Degree in Food and Beverage Management, and her research passion was inspired by her previous work experience where public hospital foodservice quality concerns and problems were observed. Subsequently, the aspiration to be involved in responsible research and innovation that impact positively and contribute to improving the quality of life. Her research focus is mainly on food systems, food service quality, and food and nutrition security. She published articles in national and international accredited journals; and in 2019, the international life sciences institute presented Lindiwe with an award: Malispana International scholars travel award – for her outstanding research contributions which are aimed at improving public health in the areas of food safety, nutrition & well-being. Lindiwe lives in South Africa, Pretoria with her family.
