Johnson is multi-skilled a civil society activist, researcher, trainer and consultant and a professional educational holder of Diploma in Law and Accounting, Johnson worked with: Ichuli institute monitoring and evaluation as enumerator in 2017, Associate researcher, Development training and research center (DETREC) 2006-2008 and field staff Disability Rights Fund; PACT OMEGA INITIATIVE 2007-2010.
In 2008, Johnson founded Northern Uganda Effort for the Needy (NUEN); to improve economic and social conditions of people in Northern Uganda disadvantaged, devastated and made vulnerable by 2 decades conflict of Lord’s Resistance Army Insurgency (LRA); an organization he currently works with as Director. Johnson uses research program to inform intervention action programs designed by the organization (NUEN).
Johnson, believes in Application of digital technology in research undertaking, Excellent time management and organizational professionalism and expertise, improving and updating research knowledge skills and practices, researching in multi-cultural and ethnic settings, travels, meeting targets, team work, unity in diversity and working for long hours with less supervision.
For the last 13 years, he conducted groups Appraisal, needs assessment, and Impact Assessment with DETREC between 2006-2009, Presented advocacy research paper position papers in 2013, 14 and 2015 on sexual gender based violence (SGBV) and good governance, Human rights papers to local consortium in 2017, produced child literacy learning report with Ichuli institute 2017 and produced 20 activities, outcome and impacts research reports to NUEN BOARD and partners, besides. He, further conducted numerous research reports that have enriched consultancies for NUEN, partners and clients since 2008. In 2015, Johnson was awarded a certificated in social entrepreneurship with social Entrepreneurs Transforming Africa (SET-AFRICA).
