Biographical Info
Radenka Krsmanović Whiffen is the Assistant Director of the FoodHub Centre of Excellence and an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Polytechnics of the University of Donja Gorica, in Podgorica, Montenegro. She is a former Maria Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellow at the ENEA Casaccia Research Centre (Italy). She holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Antwerp (Belgium). In her career, she has worked and studied in Italy, Belgium, France, Serbia and Portugal. Radenka is the founding Chair of the Western Balkans Chapter of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), which was named the best European MCAA Chapter in 2020. Her principal interests include the relationship between research and science policy, supporting SDGs and developing instruments to encourage academic integrity and responsible research environments in the Western Balkan region. She advocates for Science for Policy and Science Diplomacy, Open Science, RRI and gender equality in research.
